04/22/2009 WiFi-Plus has installed and will be a fully functioning WiFi system by 07/01/2009 to include a VSAT connection provided by F.T.I. This entire deployment is located at the N.I.O.S.H. facility located at 626 Cochrans Mill Rd Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Mr. George Livergood has provided the N.I.O.S.H. staff with WiFi phones to aid them in their activities during the day with constant connection with the supervisors command center. F.T.I. is providing an Internet connection and a web based monitoring software system accessible from anywhere in the world. During hurricane Katrina F.T.I. was the only VSAT system to have a reliably connection with a combined downtime of only 16 sec. See this incredible technology at both N.I.O.S.H. workshops. The second phase will entail the installation of the ipMine safety system deployed by iPackets International (www.ipackets.com). ipMine is a real time two way voice, text and video wireless communication solution to track, monitor and communicate with miners and equipment underground and above ground. iPMine utilizes iPackets 802.11-based zone access points (iPMine-ZAPs) to establish an in-mine wireless data network that functions as the nervous system linking a mines' operation control center, miners and equipment. iPackets mobile communication devise (iPMine-M8 text and VIOP), carried by miners or attached to equipment, broadcast their secure location information and other messages as they roam between various mining zones. This information is intercepted by iPMine-ZAPs and relayed back to the dispatch office/ command center where it's displayed on monitoring and viewing stations configured by iPackets iPMine-VU enterprise software.
04/20/2009 WiFi-Plus has been invited to the N.I.O.S.H. workshops as a vendor in the mining industry and will be presenting at the N.I.O.S.H. workshops May 13-14 located in Denver, Colorado at the Quest Learning & Conference Center and also at the N.I.O.S.H. workshops May 19 & 20 in Charleston, WV at the Charleston Civic Center. WiFi-Plus will be presenting their full line of WiFi communication, with triple play back-haul, bi-directional video, data, censoring devise for gas or dust and visual aid equipment. Mr. George Livergood the founder of F.T.I will be presenting a feed via VSAT from the N.I.O.S.H. facility located at 626 Cochrans Mill Rd Pittsburgh, PA 15236. We will be show casing iPackets mine safety tracking and monitoring solution . On display Mr. Naiel Kanno the founder of iPackets will be presenting their iPMineM8 hand held text based device and VIOP based phone. In addition, we will be exhibiting the iPMine-VU tracking and monitoring software with historical data gathered from a number of past demos conducted in The United States. iPackets will show you their new VOIP/Walkie talkie devise. This devise was designed to meet MSHA requirements of the two methods of operation. VOIP and low frequency communications between miners. Joining our booth will be Berkeley Varitronics Syetems, Inc. They have been providing wireless solutions and products to the domestic and international cellular telecommunications industry for over 35 years. 03/12/2009 WiFi-Plus has teamed up with Foundation Telecommunications and iPackets to install at the NIOSH Safety Research Coal Mine a complete mine package to aid them in testing 2.4GHz wireless concepts. Architron /WiFi-Plus will provide the platform of a fully mesh self-healing communications system. Foundation Telecommunications Inc. will provide the monitored terrestrial link from our WiFi system to the Internet via FTI's VSAT system. Phase II will introduce iPackets as they will provide the tracking ability with their MSHA approved M-8 unit and their tracking software. We are working through the XP approval process in the near future. With these three companies we can offer a wide range of redundant back hauls, optional multiple choice of frequency. We will offer a full line of operating options data, voice, video (SD or HD), audio and in Phase III robotics for first responders. We will be conducting R&D on one of the three patents we hold for TTE technology. Through The Earth also to aid first responders in a search and recovery. More to come at a later date. Keep checking

04.2008 Lexington, KY: WiFi-Plus/XRF along with Foundation Telecommunications, Inc. supplied The Kentucky Horse Park RV Park & Campgrounds with it's first phase of providing wireless connectivity throughout the RV park and campgrounds. The park will play host to the 2010 World Equestrian Games, with an expected attendance of over 600,000 spectators. Phase I has just been completed with the installation of FTI's 3.1 Meter fixed transportable VSAT system to provide the link until the park obtains it connectivity from local services. George Livergood the President of FTI said "they have been awarded the contract to provide WiFi throughout the entire grounds which covers over 1,200 acres". When completed the entire park will have the ability to link to FTI's N.O.C. WiFi-Plus/XRF provided the wireless data link from the VSAT trailer to the entire RV park using our patented MP tech antennas in conjunction with XRF's patented MetroSpot-OS equipped M-Series units. WiFi-Plus/XRF will be working with FTI on future projects partnering their technologies as a total solution. Foundation Telecommunications, Inc.
WiFi-Plus creates NLOS WiFi links under ground WiFi-Plus will be able to successfully demonstrate wireless connections hundreds of feet under the ground. Using advanced antenna technology and our MetroSpot OS they are able to provide a solid Mesh (self healing) NLOS link using a redundant type back haul for added protection to the Mesh connection. We will in the near future be developing what will be called TTE (Through The Earth) alternative power for our AP's. We will go where no wires are allowed and become a true Wireless Network.
