Extended Warranty Agreement


    WiFi-Plus product customers (end users) may purchase an optional Extended Warranty Service which will provide an additional Warranty on hardware and software updates for 15% of MSRP for 1 year or 30% of MSRP for 2 years from the date of expiration of the original Warranty, or the expiration of the previous Extended Warranty Agreement period, not to exceed two years from the end of the original warranty and subject to the additional conditions set down below.

 These services provide you with an immediately available and pre-defined recovery procedure, designed to minimize the downtime of your WiFi-Plus products. Under Extended Warranty your maintenance costs are controlled and you are protected against the potentially high cost otherwise involved in carrying out faultfinding, repair, QC, burn-in and final testing on a per fault basis.

  1. Extended Warranty on all WiFi-Plus products includes repair by WiFi-Plus. This Extended Warranty does not cover damages arising from accident, misuse, abuse, normal wear-and-tear, disaster, or modification to the product carried out without WiFi-Plus's consultation and instruction.
  2. Products may not be returned to WiFi-Plus unless WiFi-Plus has already provided an appropriate Return Material Authorization (RMA) number for the return shipment.
  3. WiFi-Plus is not liable for freight costs resulting from the return of a product to WiFi-Plus's repair center or the subsequent return shipment to the customer except where the unit has failed to function on arrival at the customers premises.
  4. Extended Warranty support applies only to the first registered end-user-company as stated on the original Warranty registration form.
  5. The Extended Warranty charges are as follows: 15% or 30% of the current MSRP of the system (excluding shipping cost). The charges must be paid in full before the start of the Extended Warranty period. A quotation is available from your nearest WiFi-Plus office or distributor.

    Please note that where your previous period of Warranty or Extended Warranty cover has been allowed to lapse you will be required to pay an additional 10% discontinuity fee or you may choose to have your new agreement backdated to the expiry date of your previous cover.
  6. The Extended Warranty contract also includes the supply of useful application notes, newsletters and telephone application support.
  7. WiFi-Plus's liability under this agreement is limited to the repair or replacement of the WiFi-Plus product, whichever is appropriate. WiFi-Plus is not responsible for any loss of profits, loss of use, interruption of business, nor for indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages of any kind whether under this agreement or otherwise.
